Mae’r ymgynghoriad statudol ar gyfer prosiect Solar a Storio Ynni Plas Power bellach wedi cau.
Mae Lightsource bp yn rhoi gwerth aruthrol ar yr adborth gan gymunedau yn ystod y broses ymgynghori. Rydym yn ddiolchgar am yr ymgysylltiad a’r adborth a gawsom ar ein cynigion dros y tair blynedd ddiwethaf. Mae’r cymunedau o amgylch y safle wedi chwarae rhan bwysig wrth lunio ein prosiect.
Yn ystod yr ymgynghoriad statudol, daeth dros 130 o bobl i’n digwyddiadau cyhoeddus ac rydym wedi derbyn dros ddeg ar hugain o ymatebion ar ein cynigion.
Rydym nawr yn ystyried yn ofalus yr holl adborth a dderbyniwyd a bydd ein hymateb yn cael ei nodi yn yr adroddiad ymgynghori a fydd yn rhan o’r cais cynllunio.
Mae Prosiect Solar a Storio Ynni arfaethedig Plas Power yn cael ei ddosbarthu yn Ddatblygiad o Arwyddocâd Cenedlaethol. Mae hyn yn golygu y bydd Lightsource bp yn gwneud cais i Benderfyniadau Cynllunio ac Amgylchedd Cymru (PEDW), a fydd yn gwneud argymhelliad i Weinidogion Cymru ynghylch rhoi caniatâd cynllunio ai peidio. Ar hyn o bryd mae Lightsource bp yn disgwyl cyflwyno cais cynllunio i PEDW yn haf 2024.
Byddwn yn parhau i ymgysylltu â’r gymuned ynghylch ein cronfa budd cymunedol pe bai caniatâd yn cael ei roi, ac unwaith y bydd y prosiect yn weithredol.

The statutory consultation for the Plas Power Solar and Energy Storage project has now closed.
Lightsource bp places huge value on the feedback from communities during the consultation process. We are grateful for the engagement and feedback we have had on our proposals over the last three years. The communities surrounding the site have played an important role in shaping our project.
During the statutory consultation, over 130 people attended our public events and we have received over thirty responses on our proposals.
We are now carefully considering all feedback received and our response will be detailed in the consultation report which will form part of the planning application.
The proposed Plas Power Solar and Energy Storage Project is classed as a Development of National Significance. This means that Lightsource bp will make an application to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW), which will make a recommendation to Welsh Ministers on whether or not to grant planning permission. Lightsource bp currently expect to submit a planning application to PEDW in summer 2024.
We will continue to engage with the community regarding our community benefit fund should consent be granted, and once the project is operational.
