UPDATE!!:
The footpath near the top of the stairs has been repaired, however please remember that due to the natural undulations of the ground, the growth of trees and the settling of ground around graves, much of the footpath around the cemetery is uneven. Care for your own safety must be taken at all times by visitors to the cemetery.

Please note that there is an area of footpath which has become particularly uneven on the lower path in the cemetery.
We are cordoning it off so please avoid using that area of the footpath near the top of the steps – access will be via the central pathway to the lower area of the cemetery or down the steps.
We will endeavour to make repairs as quickly as possible, but please be aware that due to the roots of trees within the cemetery, some areas of footpath remain uneven and so may be unsuitable for some people to access.
