A short while ago a student from Coleg Cambria contacted us to ask if it would be possible to carry out some litter picking through the Nant Mill area, to help him and some friends to achieve their Welsh Baccalaureate award. They needed to carry out some hours volunteering within their community and they came up with the idea of clearing around the river, and approached us. They contacted WCBC to ask permissions and we supplied the litter picking equipment for them to use, and they completed their necessary hours over a few days.
Thanks to these young people who chose to help their place of nature and their community!! They cleared several bags of rubbish from the environment left by less responsible individuals – what a positive initiative!
